I just completed "Blood Money" and I had been thinking about how to convey my feelings about this book without being over the top, or using the same trite phrases that often come up in reviews. Not that I expect my reviews to have a major impact, but if I'm going to take my time to write one, I have hopes that it will be helpful to someone.I really enjoyed reading this book. It was an interesting slant on the legal profession, and there were enough twists to keep up the suspense all the way through. The writing style was interesting, engaging, and held my attention to the point of sacrificing some precious sleep time, in order to read the infamous 'just one more page/chapter". Ok - there were a couple of places when the action was a bit over the top, but on the other hand, I can pick up a newspaper, and see over the top behavior going on in our world every day. So I can accept a stretch in a fictional book. And the ending - a nice reward to the readers. If you enjoy a well woven story, with mystery, intrigue and suspense, and can handle some crimes committed along the way, give this book a try.
