I. Loved. This. Book. It's 1:30 in the morning, and I don't even care that I stayed up way too long finishing it. It was worth it..This story was a steampunk / adventure paradise, and while romance is used sparingly, that ending definitely made me swoon.As with book 1, the setting is simply fantastic. Very Castle in the Sky / Howl's Moving Castle. My inner nerd was thrilled. We get to see a lot more of a certain character who was introduced briefly in the first book (I won't day who) and I really enjoyed his character. And the magical struggle Raven goes through is simply fascinating. The only thing I found frustrating was Raven's continued habit if blaming herself for literally everything that possibly goes wrong. I'm hoping that's something her character works on as thr series progresses, but either way I am HERE FOR IT!
