Pam Bernard has a powerful yet sensitive voice. Her writing is strong and honest and she delivers her word's with great skill. This is the third book by Pam that I have read and it is a masterful work that has been well researched. She has penned this elegy, one might say a poets prayer, for her father who lived through WWI at the age of seventeen. I found this a very moving read. I look forward to more from this talented author soon.
