My mind to me a kingdom is.... O' shall you kiss me as before? The sorrow of things... how lovely how sad. We may as well go with the angels.Listening through this recording gives me chills. It is never dull. It is beautifully composed and executed, though not as slick as flawless as C93's "Of Ruine or Some Blazing Starre." Most songs feature vocals and lyrics by David Tibet, but Rose sings, and Douglas sings one that could easily pass as a good Death in June piece. Michael Cashmore's compositions and playing are superb, and the baroque beauty is wonderful in contrast to some of the loud, martial, and frightening short instrumental pieces linking songs together, thanks, probably, to Steven Stapleton's (Nurse With Wound) production and sonic participation. If you like the Current 93 of David Tibet, Michael Cashmore, Rose McDowall, and Steven Stapleton, (Thunder Perfect Mind, Blazing Starre, Pretty Horses) with a dose of Douglas Pierce, then this album is a must have, though since the fall of World Serpent, it's harder to get without parting with some cash to a private seller. There isn't a weak piece on it. It's impossible not to group this in with this same line up of Current 93, but this is Cashmore's baby, and it is very good. I'm sorry the other Nature and Organization recording , Death in a Snow Leopard Winter, didn't get as fleshed out as this one, though it has its own charm as am instrumental record. There's some Amazon weirdness at present on this page, so to be clear, this "review" is for Nature and Organization's "Beauty Reaps the Blood of Solitude."
