Wild East Spaghetti Western Double Feature: A Coffin for the Sheriff features Anthony Steffen as Shenandoah, a stranger who infiltrates an outlaw gang in order to find out who had murdered his wife during a stagecoach robbery two years previously. The job becomes complicated when the gang decides to rob rancher Wilson, Shenandoah's friend, and kidnap his daughter. Blood at Sundown (aka One Thousand Dollars on the Black) features Anthony Steffen as Johnny Liston, who, after spending twelve years in prison for a murder he didn't commit, returns to his home town only to discover that his psychotic brother Sartana holds all the towns in the territory in a death grip, extorting money from each town and killing those who don't contribute. Stopping the mayhem and clearing his name become Johnny's responsibility.
